Kathleen (Katie) Brown is the associate dean for information resources atCharleston School of Law. A recognized leader in legal technology and ethics,she was named a 2024 vLex Fastcase 50 honoree and received the 2024 AALSSection of Technology, Law & Legal Education Technology & Ethics Awardfor her contributions to advancing these areas in legal education. Brown holds a JD from Seattle University School of Law with afocus on intellectual property law, an MS in Library and Information Sciencefrom Drexel University, and a BFA from DePaul University. She is a frequent CLEinstructor on topics including legal ethics, artificial intelligence, legaltechnology, process optimization, and legal research. Her teaching experiencespans courses such as Legal Technology for Practice, Art of Advocacy,specialized legal research, and multiple courses on artificial intelligence. An active member of AALL, Brown has served in numerousleadership roles, including on the AALL Executive Board from 2011 to 2014. Herresearch interests encompass intellectual property, legal technology ineducation, artificial intelligence, and acting skills for lawyers. Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library

As the director of the Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library, serving the third-largest county in the United States. He is the first African American Director in the Law Library’s 110-year history. With 30 years of experience across the legal and corporate sectors, Andre is a recognized leader in advancing diversity, innovation, and technology-enabled service delivery in the legal industry. Davison has held numerous leadership roles with AALL, including serving on the Executive Board (2022–2025). His work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening member engagement, elevating the profession, and expanding the impact of law libraries in their communities. His accomplishments have earned multiple honors, including his law firm’s Diversity Award (2018), winning the AALL Innovation Tournament (2019), and receiving the Fastcase 50 award (2020), which recognizes the law’s most innovative and visionary leaders. In 2021, he was elected Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, and most recently, he received the Houston Bar Association President’s Award for his service as 2024–2025 Co-Chair of the HBA County Law Library Committee. He currently serves on the Access to Justice Network Advisory Board, the State Bar of Texas Access to Justice Technology Committee, and as Co-Chair of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee. He holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Houston and an MS in Information Science from the University of Texas.

State Law Librarian for the Hawai‘i State Judiciary, AALL President (2025-2026)

Silbiger is the 2025-2026 president of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL)—the first leader from Hawai‘i in the Association’s 118-year history. In her role with the Hawai‘i State Judiciary, she advances access to legal information and justice through innovative programs, partnerships, and outreach. She is deeply engaged in professional and community service. She serves as a liaison to the Hawai‘i Access to Justice Commission and co-chairs the Hawai‘i State Bar Association’s Committee on Delivery of Legal Services to the Public. She also served as president of the Hawai‘i Library Association, where she helped lead the organization’s centennial celebration in 2022. Silbiger is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences, presenting on topics including artificial intelligence, access to justice, information literacy, legal research, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her contributions to the profession have been widely recognized, including receiving the Hawai‘i Women Lawyers Distinguished Service Award in 2022. Her writing has appeared in AALL Spectrum, Notes Between Us, the Hawai‘i Bar Journal, and Hawai‘i Review. She is also the author of Century of the Tiger: 100 Years of Korean Culture in America (2003), which received the Ka Palapala Po‘okela Award for Excellence in Literature from the Hawai‘i Book Publishers Association.

Kelly Leong, Associate Dean for Library Services, Assistant Professor of Law, Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Leong joined Cardozo in January 2023 after previously serving as head of reference at Fordham Law School. Prior to joining Fordham, she was a reference librarian at the UCLA School of Law and Duke University School of Law. Leong received her JD from New England School of Law, her LLM in Intellectual Property from George Washington University Law School, and her MLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her interests include environmental law and copyright issues. An American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) member since 2010, she currently serves as chair of the Annual Meeting Program Committee.
