This program will explore how law libraries can play a leading role in identifying, preserving, and making accessible the often-overlooked materials that define the institution’s day-to-day operations and long-term evolution. Attendees will learn how to build relationships with administrative offices, develop simple workflows for capturing at-risk content, and launch a "Save Our Now" initiative to ensure that today’s activities are not tomorrow’s mysteries.

This program offers a practical comparison of popular tracking tools—including ResearchMonitor, OneLog, vendor-provided usage data, and manual methods used by small firms. This program explores how each tool captures usage, what types of insights they offer, and how to evaluate their reliability.

In this program, panelists will describe the different strategies they have taken to implement modern journal publishing standards and address emerging challenges at their own institutions, with a focus on identifying and working with key actors in the law review ecosystem; collaborating between departments and across institutions; the limitations and/or opportunities offered by popular proprietary or open-access publishing platforms; and taking advantage of moments of broader change to introduce new tools and establish new workflows.
