Mead is a former Legal Information Preservation Alliance board member and former chair of AALL’s Legal History & Rare Books Special Interest Section. Previously, he was the state law librarian at the New Mexico Supreme Court. He has managed large weeding and preservation projects at both libraries. He holds a JD from the University of New Mexico and an MLS from Emporia State University.
Michelle Trumbo
Interim Director of the Law Library
Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University
In addition to serving as interim director of the law library, Trumbo serves as an assistant professor and as assistant director of the Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis Program. She is also director of preservation and collections at NELLCO, where she leads the organization’s preservation-focused work, including related resources and programming. She holds a JD from Washington & Lee University School of Law and an MLIS from the University of Washington.
