Four experts. Three mini games. One virtual game board: digital privacy in law librarianship. Follow along and learn from our players’ answers as we challenge them to test their knowledge of the game rules. The more technology we bring into our lives, the more our privacy seems to slip away. Through several unique lenses panelists will move through a virtual gaming experience to speak on a variety of topics. Play along as they explore key terminology, explain critical concepts related to accessing and communicating information, and illustrate through example scenarios trending privacy concerns for library users, attorneys, and clients. Perspectives will range from system administrators at law firms to law faculty teaching legal tech, as well as law librarians managing resource authentication. Practical tips will be shared for decreasing your risk of data breaches and best practices. Discussion will include speculations on emerging trends and innovative approaches.
