Virtual Coffee Chat: Inclusive Best Practices, New Member Focus

  • Registration Closed

Join the members of the Inclusive Community Outreach Special Committee for a follow-up conversation on inclusive best practices in professional organizations. We will explore a sub-set of the ideas and questions that arose in our spring coffee chat. This time, we're focusing on the experiences of our newer AALL members. We will use the same breakout room format to explore best practices for creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere from the moment someone joins our organization. What actions can we take to show that we value, respect, and support our new members? How can we best affirm that all are welcome to bring their authentic selves to the community?

Please note: AALL virtual coffee chats are not recorded and registration is open to AALL members only.
