Your peers will discuss their roadmap to a successful implementation of a library resource and how they collaborated across departments and with their business partners to meet their goals. The speakers will provide tips on information to gather, building your roadmap, being involved from the beginning, pitfalls to avoid, the importance of a project evaluation, and how best to communicate the success of the project.

This webinar is for librarians interested in or new to implementing a resource or library tool as well as librarians wanting a refresher. This webinar is for all library types.

Prior to joining Troutman Pepper in December of 2020, she was the Research Services Operations Manager at White & Case and served in research and operations/systems roles at Morrison & Foerster. Andrea grew up with an innate passion for storytelling, and one of her favorite things about her role is being able to use that knack for narrative to synthesize legal research and summarize data.

Kirsten Leary, Director of Library & Member Services at the Social Law Library

Kirsten is responsible for overseeing the Membership, Reference and Patron Services departments. She has been with the Library since 2010. Kirsten has served on the Nominating Committee for the Association of Boston Law Librarians (ABLL), co-chaired the LLNE fall 2013 meeting and is currently serving on ABLL’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Social Law, Kirsten worked in a public library. Kirsten earned a B.A. in History and English from Boston College and her M.L.I.S. from Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science.

Marcus Peasley, Manager Advisory Services at HBR Consulting

Marcus serves as a manager within the Advisory Services business at HBR Consulting. He analyzes complex data to conduct operational assessments, develop business cases, and implement change management initiatives. Through his work, HBR clients enhance their financial performance via resource optimization, increased efficiency, and favorable vendor contracts. Marcus graduated with distinction from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Economic Consulting, Public Policy Analysis, and International Business.

Emily Baldwin, Head of Client Success at Vable Ltd.

Emily leads the Client Success team at Vable Ltd. In her role Emily champions clients' needs. She partners with individuals and teams to implement solutions for maximizing their efficiency in order to provide meaningful, actionable information to their stakeholders. Prior to joining Vable in 2013, Emily has worked in a law firm and was a writer and editor at a newspaper. She graduated with honors from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
