This program will feature concrete discussions on management across all types of law libraries, focusing on how professionalism standards have dramatically changed in some ways, and stagnated in others. The panelists will examine a variety of issues that managers must address, including on-the-job training, change management, effective communication and self-advocacy, meeting colleagues where they are, managing up, down, and sideways, sharing constructive feedback, and finding or maintaining passion.

The program will follow a lively and engaging choose-your-own adventure format, with a hypothetical manager confronting complicated managerial problems involving professionalism standards in a changing world. Seasoned experts will discuss real-world scenarios and help guide attendees through these difficult decisions with practical solutions and tips from the most recent managerial research. Attendees will be encouraged to participate in the managerial adventure.

Attendees will be engaged with helping navigate the "Choose-Your-Own Adventure" aspect of the presentation by helping the panel choose which paths to go down, which will help drive the discussion where the audience wants it to go. Panelists and moderators will also solicit input ahead of time to gauge the most necessary topics to review.
